I never thought it would happen. My heart blew up when I saw black people on stage at the end of Barack Obama’s speech. I thought I’d never see a black president. I’m totally happy and hopeful.

Were you happy because he was black? Or were you happy because you thought he was the best candidate? I share your elation, but I am most happy because I feel Obama is the better candidate.
I would think that both Dr. King and Senator Obama would want people to vote for Obama, not because they were black, but because of who Obama is as a person.
